BowTech Archery, the industry leader in archery innovation, has partnered with television host and hunter, Eva Shockey, to create the premier bow for female bowhunters on the market today. The Eva Shockey Signature Series bow combines the extraordinary expertise of Eva Shockey with industry-defining technologies only available from Bowtech.
The Eva Shockey Signature Series bow is a serious bow for the serious female bowhunter, from the revolutionary new PowerShift technology to the design touch only Eva Shockey could offer, this bow has everything you need to put your bowhunting girlfriends to shame.
PowerShift Technology, a new feature on several BowTech bows, is a brand new innovation in compound bow design that allows the shooter to have every bow she needs with zero compromise. A quick shift of the PowerDisc changes the bow from its Performance setting (maximum speed and knock-down power) to its Classic setting (hard-hitting but smooth) or its Comfort setting (effortless draw).
Additional BowTech technologies featured on the Eva Shockey Signature Series bow include the carbon-compound Knight Riser for exceptional flexibility and durability, OverDrive Binary Cams for impeccable tuning and consistency, FLX-Guard to eliminate riser torque and the Extinguish Dampening System for greatly reduced vibration after the shot. The bow measures 31.5 inches from axle to axle, has a 6.25-inch brace height and weighs just 3.3 pounds. It can fire arrows at speeds up to 332 fps. Available standard in Micro Carbon Fibre with Electric Blue accents.
FlipDisc offers the performance and shooting characteristics of two entirely different bows in one, the FlipDisc2 is an amazing archery advancement. The FlipDisc2 allows for two distinct shooters preferences with its Performance and Comfort settings. With a simple flip of the Disc you can select the setting you desire.
It's time to shift your thinking. The Eva Shockey Signature Series marks the beginning of a new era with the introduction of the revolutionary PowerShift Technology, a brand new technology that delivers versatility unmatched by any compound bow on the market. PowerShift is a game changer among bow manufacturers and BowTech is proud to introduce it on the Eva Shockey. The Eva Shockey removes the need to compromise when choosing a bow. This brand new innovation in bow design allows shooters to have every bow they want with zero compromise. BowTech wanted a bow that would fit any shooter, every season. When it's time to choose just one bow, get all the bows you want as BowTech has done that with PowerShift Technology. This technology is something you will see grow and expand over the years. BowTech will unveil many new technologies in the coming years that will fit nicely under the PowerShift Technology umbrella.
With a simple quick shift of the PowerDisc, any archer can customise their shooting experience from the Performance setting (maximum speed and knock-down power) to its Classic setting (hard-hitting but smooth) or its Comfort setting (effortless draw), so you are really getting three bows in one.
This is the first time BowTech has come out with a series of bow designs that they are actually asking the shooter to engage with and do some of the set up themselves. The PowerShift Technology is amazing and the PowerDisc3, which is under the PowerShift umbrella, allows shooters the ability to choose and switch between three different draw-force curve options.
The gold PowerDisc3 is numbered with three holes that represent a different draw-force curve.
The 1st setting dubbed Performance was engineered for those who prefer raw power and speed. The draw cycle is a bit rigid and firm, but nothing that will pop a hernia when you draw it back. In fact, it is found to be surprisingly smooth for the 332 feet-per-second speed it produces.
The 2nd setting is called Classic the setting most Midwestern whitetail goers will prefer. The setting provides plenty of speed and power, but the draw cycle is noticeably smoother and the transition into let off isn't as abrupt. Perfect for tree stand and ground blind hunting.
Those who hunt in frigid temperatures or simply prefer an ultra-smooth draw will want to slide the PowerDisc3 to the Comfort or 3rd setting. This setting promises a draw cycle so smooth you simply have to experience it to believe it.
In fact, BowTech is calling the Eva Shockey, when set at the Comfort setting, their smoothest-drawing bow to date. Best of all, switching from setting to setting doesn't require a bow press and it takes only a few seconds to adjust the PowerDisc3 on both the top and bottom cam. All you need is an Allen wrench.
Archers can have speed, power, a smooth draw or an effortless draw all in one truly revolutionary compound bow which produces zero string oscillation or hand vibration.
OverDrive Binary Cam is truly the most advanced cam system ever produced. For unmatched accuracy, stability, symmetry, consistency and simple impeccable tuning with perfect cam synchronisation. By attaching a 100% tunable split buss cable harness to the ends of a cam synchronising axle, cam stability is maximised while maintaining perfect synchronisation for unmatched accuracy and a very comfortable draw cycle. Rotating modules come standard with the OverDrive Binary Cam system.
Rotating Modules. Time is of the essence. You will never have to wait for replacement cams or modules ever again. Unlike most bows on the market today, BowTech bows do not require a new cam or module to set your draw length. Simply remove the module screws, rotate the module and re-tighten. At least six inches of draw length adjustment and an infinite edge draw stop feature is available on most BowTech bows, allowing for custom draw length tuning for yourself or others. Quick draw length adjustments provide the ability to make the proper length adjustment to match your preferred shooting style.
Premium alloy composition allows for a strong, lightweight design while diminishing noise and vibration.
FLX-Guard eliminates riser torque for extreme accuracy. After relentless hours from their engineers and months of testing, BowTech put the FLX Guard in action. The result was flawless execution in terminating riser torque. It is clear why this technology is the most effective cable containment system on the market.
The FLX-Guard cable containment system addresses the tuning effects of extreme cable tension and inflexible cable guards found on today's bows. As the bow is drawn, the FLX-Guard responds by flexing inward, absorbing the cable guard torque that would have otherwise been transferred to the riser. The result is substantial reduction in lateral nock travel, yielding a real advancement in tunability, forgiveness and accuracy.
Centre Pivot Extreme (CPX). If you know one thing about BowTech, it is that they completely dominate the competition with their innovations. Their newest creation, Centre Pivot Extreme or CPX, is a prime example of this. CPX redefines accuracy with its sleek new deflexed riser design and with the help of ultra low friction components the speed of 343 fps is easily obtained. Combined with Overdrive Binary Cams, FLX-Guard and HardCore Limbs, CPX gives you one scary unmatched accurate, deadly quiet, blazing fast piece of equipment.
Octane Factory Strings. Hand made. Machine grade. It's a well known fact that strings and cables are critical in overall bow performance, so Octane, by BowTech, produce the most respected and reliable strings available. Octane strings are hand built to ensure that BowTech's high demand for quality is upheld. Over the last ten years, Octane has designed and built custom machines that are proprietary to the Octane string building process. The combination of hand quality and custom precision machinery allows for only one result, perfection. You might just be surprised just how much goes into building a single set of strings and cables.
When you see BowTech technologies, you know you are buying a genuine product from the original developers, those who know it best. Why buy an imitation when you can have the original?
